Marathon Runner is a very simple java running game. You push two buttons (one for the left leg and one for the right leg) as fast as you can until you finish the race. It tests your stamina and speed just like cross-country running and running a marathon. There are two different versions of Marathon Runner. The java executable which you download and run from your computer and the applet which you simply run from your web browser.
To play Marathon Runner right in your web browser simply click on a race below.
Unzip the files then run the MarathonRunner java executable file to play.
To unzip the files simply right click on the MarathonRunnerBeta4.zip file and select extract all.
The only requirment for the game is that you have the latest version of java.
If you get errors such as "main class not found" it is most likely you are running an older version of java.
You can download java here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Special thanks to Woogley for helping me with the high scores.
May not work on older versions of Mac OS because they do not support the latest versions of java.
